A word of appreciation for Tandoori Flames

Recently we had our office Christmas Party at Tandoori Flames, It should be one of the finest Indian restaurants located in Melbourne, Australia. We were twenty and called them just a day before to book our seats. We went the next day and found everything totally well organized.

I was a bit nervous since I proposed the place and organized it. But with the sumptuous food, entertainment (belly dance) and excellent service, Tandoori Flames made our evening a great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant and my ratings for them is 5 Stars. Tandoori Flames is one of "Melbourne's finest Indian Restaurants". Great Job TF Team!!! We soon have a marriage party coming up and it would be undoubtedly in TF.

Bachan the reporter!!!

Why do you want to be a celebrity? There can be many but the top two would be Money & Publicity. Imagine you have achieved it, how would it feel after that? Ask The Bachan's who have enormous amount of the above said two. Bachan's are not any more an actor family but a brand that not only sells Bollywood or Products anymore but promotes India as a country worldwide. But what have we done for this family and many more such families in this country is injustice in my view. In our curiosity to know more about these celebrities we have many a times breached their democratic rights, privacy and basic human rights and caused a lot of damage to their private&public life. I wouldn't blame the media directly coz they deliver what we like the most. It started initially that way and today's media went far beyond our tastes and deliver total nonsense about every celebrity out there and more about the Bachan's coz they are the most popular.

I have always wondered how would it be to wake up as Abishek? I would be wearing silk pyjamas, Miss World serving bed coffee, jacuzzi for bath, private beautician for make-up, personal assistant waiting with the days schedule, Rolls Royce Phantom on the porch waiting........ wow luxury to the core isnt it? but have you ever wondered what would it be like having all this always in a closed room and any small gap in it will be stuck with a camera to watch........ man that will become living hell..... In this world there are two types of celebrities 1. love media to reach people 2. love people directly minus media...... Category 1 need not be explained since truth will be as little as a mustard...... Category 2 are the ones who will have an exchange of direct love between them and their fans but not always covered in the media that would reflect their original thoughts. I have seen many Bachan interviews in the last 5 years and he only sounded reluctant, egoistic, careless in them and most of all answered the questions blunt. I thought why should he go on air with so much hatred and thought he is not a people loving/friendly guy until I started following his blog. I could now relate with him to understand how tough it is to be a celebrity and how important it is for him to become a reporter on his own to bring out the real him to the world. I was totally moved to learn how he acted as a loving father to call his soon not to return back until things became normal, how human he was to prepare with torch and rain water if there is a power cut. All we hear is he getting furious on Aishwarya or the rift with her family and his which we do not know is true or not but obviously enthused by it. I would ask you to once video tape a quarrel between your mother and wife and post it on youtube, I would ask you to record your bed time conversations with your wife and youtube it to the world. See and Hear it yourself over and over again and see how people react to it and thats how it will be for them. So the next time you hear a rumor, a gossip about a celebrity pity for them, be concerned about their privacy and tell the media you hate it. This will not only help us get better but will help Bachan to spend more time on his acting and not become a reporter for himself. But Mr.Bachan I do not will if it will happen but if it does don't stop your blog coz that will tutor a lot of young bloggers like us.

Challenge is to be addressed and Problem is to be solved.....

In my own experience I have not been able to differentiate between a Challenge and a Problem for a long time. I had been thinking and going back on lot of issues that I solved in the past, in most of the cases I looked at a solution that will get me out of the challenge. What it also did is that it took away the whole opportunity and got me out of it. Most of us tend to view a Challenge in front of us as a Problem. This misunderstanding might lead us to a scenario where we might loose out on an opportunity to bring back things in line on an issue. Challenge's sometimes might look like road block's, it may be true to some extent but on a larger perspective these road blocks are positive things that can help us to get a better/deeper understanding on issues that we are dealing with. Also, there is a very important aspect to be understood when dealing with a challenge and a problem. You may not always resort to desperate measures while solving a challenge but to solve problems you may have to get into desperate measures.

Terrorism is not a challenge but a problem which should be dealt with. You cant sit with terrorists to address it, you have to act and SOLVE. But an economic crisis is not a problem but a challenge which has to be addressed. That is the reason govt's are trying to work with financial institutions, banks and companies to address the situation than letting them get into desperate measures like cutting jobs or filing bankruptcy. Viewing every challenge as a problem and acting accordingly is like, you have gone bankrupt on thoughts in your mind to address it. There are a lot of good things said about Obama his views and thoughts, If you have closely watched his speech he never used a word "economic problem" but he always used "economic challenge" while he spoke about the recent economic CHALLENGE.

Closing Line: I think everyone can become an Obama in their own way if they understand this differentiator.

A word of appreciation for The Chopras - Chennai

It gives me immense pleasure to send this letter of appreciation to "The Chopras" Chennai. Its just been a week since we've known them now and having gone through a bitter experience elsewhere, we entered The Chopras Chennai with a sense of cautiousness and fear. It did not take us long to realize that at last we are in a right place. A place where a bunch of professionals take their work seriously and work hard to make your life comfortable and easy.

We met with Apala, who from the first telephone call showed a great sense of care and professionalism in handling us. She used every resource at her disposal to get our questions answered and doubts cleared. She delivered her first commitment of getting my wife's unconditional offer within 2 working days, I would give all the credit to this lady who had enormous confidence and commitment towards her task. Everyone in this place we dealt with were ready to go that extra mile to help us out. We the customer felt like king when a whole bunch of people worked to shape-up our mangled confidence. Aparna a person I cannot miss without a mention. A thorough professional with wealth of information and knowledge about her work.

We know we have a long way to go. I am not much worried about the ultimate outcome of the whole process. I would always relish the experience of working with "The Chopras". I would like to give them my highest degree of recommendation.
